C 03 Create an event

Wether you are creating a campaign, event or a gamification setting you need to create an event first.

Go to Communication - List Events - New Event.

Then add the text and settings appropriate to your event.

 

EVENT SETTINGS
Title: The name of your event
Description: Description of the event showing on top of the online registration form. 
Image: Add image to show on top of registration form and e-mail templates.
Language: The language of the registration form.

 

REGISTRATION FORM SETTINGS
Allow open registration:  Allow participant register for the event without an invitation.
Allow subusers: Allow registration of several participants in one registration form.
Allow editable subusers: Allow each of the subusers to edit their registrered information.
Booking confirmation: Send autoreply after participant registration.
Feedback confirmation: Send autoreply after feedback registration.

PAYMENT AND TICKETING
Payment:  
Add payment after participant registration.
Ticketing: Activate QR scanning at event admission. A new settings tab in the menu occurs (Ticketing) to set up the badge printing and partner scan login. In addition you can add the ticketing logo to show at the badge printing.

EVENT COMMUNICATION
Company: Name of the company arranging the event.
Contact: The name that shows in the email sender field
Phone: Contacts phone number
Email: Email sender used in all email communication from the event
SMS: SMS sender name (only letters and no special caracters) 

EVENT TIME
Event starts:
Startdate of the event
Event ends: When the event is done
Booking starts: The date when registration is open
Deadline for adding subusers: When registration of new subusers ends
Booking ends: When registration of new particpants ends 

 

After you have set up the event you should either create a registration form or import users who shall attend the event.
