How to Download and Install Skype
For Mac

1. Download Skype:

* Visit the Skype Download Page here
* Click on Get Skype for Mac. 

2. Install Skype:

* Open the downloaded .dmg file.
* Drag the Skype icon to the Applications folder.
* Wait for the copying process to complete.

3. Launch Skype:

Open Skype from the Applications folder or use Spotlight search.
* Log in with your account credentials.

For PC (Windows)
1. Download Skype:

* Visit the Skype Download Page.
* Click on Get Skype for Windows.

2. Install Skype: 

* Open the downloaded file (usually named SkypeSetup.exe).
* Follow the on-screen instructions:

* Accept the terms and conditions.
* Choose the installation folder (default is recommended).

* Wait for the installation to complete.

3. Launch Skype:

* Once installed, open Skype from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
* Log in with your newly created account.

How to Create a Skype Account

1. Go to the Skype Website:

* Open a web browser and navigate to Skype's official website.

2. Sign Up for a New Account:

* Click on the Sign in button at the top-right corner and select Sign up.
* You will be directed to the Microsoft account creation page.

3. Enter Your Details:

* Choose whether to sign up with your email address or phone number.
* Create a secure password.

4. Verify Your Email or Phone:

* You’ll receive a verification code on your chosen method (email or phone). Enter the code to complete the verification.

5. Finish Account Setup:

* Once verified, follow the on-screen prompts to finalize your account setup, including choosing a Skype username.

Tips for Both Platforms

* Ensure your device meets Skype’s minimum requirements:
* Windows: Windows 10 or higher.
* Mac: macOS 10.13 or higher.
* Update Skype regularly to access the latest features.
* Test your microphone, camera, and internet connection before making calls.
